I think this is true. Doing something inconvenient will never bring something good. You won't gain anything. One thing that has consequences that you won't gain anything from is speeding. Speeding will get you a ticket. You will definitely have to pay fro it obviously and you might have to do community work. You won't gain anything for this and you will have this on your record. This wouldn't go away. This is an example of gaining nothing from doing wrong.
